SATURDAY, JUNE 1 – ARRIVE AT VALENTINE
The tractors, trailers, and semis will be parked at the Cherry County Fairgrounds, 120 S. Green Street,Valentine Nebraska
SUNDAY, JUNE 2 – VALENTINE ALL DAY
Breakfast on your own.
10:00 am Meeting for all TRAN PARTICIPANTS at the Cherry County Fairgrounds.
10:15 am Leave for Cherry Hills Assisted Living.
10:30-11:30 Park tractors, visit with residents of Cherry Hills Assisted Living.
11:45 am Leave and drive to Veteran’s Club at 256 Main Street.
12:00 Noon Arrive at Veteran’s Club, park tractors for community to see.
1:00-4:00 pm Tractors will be parked on Main Street in front of the Veteran’s Club. There will be aCommunity Barbeque. Free will offering to OCW/Gifts for Yanks.
There will be a parade in Valentine before returning to the Fairgrounds.
MANDATORY FUEL FILL.
5:00 pm Cowboy Church Service at the Fairgrounds. This is a non-denominational community service, and our own Steven Fisher will be the lay preacher for the evening. See above for St. Nicholas Mass times on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Evening meal on your own.
MONDAY, JUNE 3 – VALENTINE to SMITH FALLS to VALENTINE 39 miles
Breakfast on your own.
8:30 am Meeting at the Cherry County Fairgrounds
9:00 am Leave for Smith Falls (travel on Highway 12 - 19.7 miles)
10:15 am Break along roadside
11:00 am There is a steep grade into and out of the valley, please gear down and slow down.
Arrive at Smith Falls
There is a 3⁄4 mile walk to the falls. Benches along the way, Rich Wilton has permission to take golf cart as far as permitted. This scenic view is worth the walk!
12:00 Noon Lunch – Subway Lunch boxes with choice of turkey/ham or beef sandwich, chips, and cookie. $10.00. Water available at TRAN trailer. Free will donations accepted for OCW/Gifts for Yanks
3:00 pm Leave for Cherry County Fairgrounds
4:00 pm Break along roadside
5:00 pm Arrive at Fairgrounds

6:00 pm Picnic supper at Moormeier’s Trailer provided by Steiner Tractor Parts/NAFA. Brats, salads, chips, ice cream and cookies. Free will offering for OCW/Gifts for Yanks. Also, possible items to auction, proceeds going to OCW/Gifts for Yanks.
TUESDAY, JUNE 4 – VALENTINE to AINSWORTH 46 Miles
Breakfast on your own.
6:00 am Leave with trucks, trailers, campers to move to Ainsworth – Donelle will pick up with van. There is a detour because of construction on Hwy 20. Will have exact details at a later date.
7:00 am Arrive in Ainsworth parking in the Daniels Manufacturing parking lot off Highway 20 on the
North side next to the Rodeway Inn.
8:15 am Arrive back at Valentine.
8:30 am Meeting for all TRAN participants at the Cherry County Fairgrounds.
8:45 am Leave Valentine. Travel on Highway 20 using the wide shoulders to Wood Lake (24 miles)
10:15 am Break
10:45 am Continue to Wood Lake
11:45 am Arrive Wood Lake for lunch at Ma’s Café. Sloppy Joes, chips, and drink cost approximately $10-$12. Free will donations accepted for OCW/GFY
1:00 pm Leave Wood Lake to drive to Johnstown (11 miles)
2:00 pm Arrive Johnstown – break
2:30 pm Leave Johnstown drive to Ainsworth (10 miles)
3:30 pm Arrive in Ainsworth – Drive by the Sandhills Care Center at 143 S Fullerton St.
and the Cottonwood Villa Assisted Living Facility at 450 Main St.
4:00 pm Daniels Manufacturing located on South Main Street (Plant closes at 5:00 p.m.)
6:00 pm Supper – Community will be invited for free will donation to OCW/GFY supper provided by the American Legion on Woodward St. – park tractors by the American Legion. Car Quest provides and cooking the meat. Free will donation to OCW/GFY
MANDATORY FUEL FILL before parking for the night at Daniels Manufacturing lot off Highway 20.
Tractors, semis, and trailers will be parked for the night on the Daniels Manufacturing parking lot off Highway
20 on the North side next to Rodeway Inn.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5 – AINSWORTH TO ATKINSON, 45 MILES
Breakfast on your own.
6:00 am Leave with trucks, trailers, campers for Atkinson – Donelle will pick up with van.
7:00 am Arrive in Atkinson Tractors, semis, and trailer will be parked in the lots behind the Sandhills Guest House off Highway 20 on the east side of the road.
8:15 am Arrive back at Ainsworth.
8:30 am Meeting for all TRAN participants at Daniels Manufacturing lot.
9:00 am Leave Ainsworth
Travel east on Highway 20 for 6.4 miles. Turn right off Highway 20 at 437 Avenue to travel 1 mile to Ponderosa Road. Continue on Ponderosa Road 1.7 miles until reach 8th & Main Street. Arrive in Long Pine, turn right onto Main Street until reaching Arthur Road. There is a Seven
Springs Bottling Sign on the corner. Turn right, drive west and arrive at the Cowboy Trail Bridge for bikers and walkers. This trail starts in Norfolk. The old bridge was for the train when it was still in operation.
9:45 am Rest break at the Cowboy Trail Bridge.
10:15 am Continue driving on Arthur Road. MANDATORY SPEED LIMIT OF 5 MPH BEFORE GOING DOWN THE HILL INTO THE HIDDEN PARADISE RESORT. Follow the loop until reaching Blaine Street, take a right to Main Street. Turn left on Main Street, travel north until reaching Highway 20, then take a right. 10 miles to Bassett
12:00 noon Lunch at Bassett Lodge & Range Café on Main Street. To get to downtown Bassett, turn north (left) off Highway 20 at the Conoco Gas Station. Buffet - Cost of meal $13-$15. Free will donation to OCW/GFY.
1:15 pm Leave the Café and drive by the Rock County Hospital Nursing Home at 100 East South Street on the way to Newport. (10.4 miles)
2:30 pm Arrive in Newport for break - Roadside stop on South Side of the Road. Restrooms & picnic tables available.
2:45 pm Leave for Stuart (10 miles)
3:30 pm Arrive Stuart and tour the White Horse Heritage Village Museum, a block north of the Stuart Southside Mini Mart on Highway 20. It is on the east side of the street with plenty of parking. Also drive by Parkside Manor Nursing Home at 607 N Main Street.
4:30 pm Drive 4 miles east of Stuart to tour IH Collection on North Side of Highway 20.
5:15 pm Leave for Atkinson (6 miles)
5:45 pm Arrive Atkinson, on the west side of Atkinson we will drive past a waterfall. Turn right off Highway 20 at 475th Ave and take a right onto 877 Road. Drive past The Good Samaritan Nursing Home at 409 E Neely Street. Antique Tractor Show brought in by the local farmers in the evening.
6:00 pm Community Supper sponsored by several organizations in Atkinson. Free will donation to OCW/GFY.

THURSDAY, JUNE 6 – ATKINSON TO O’NEILL ( 18 miles) WITH CAR TRIP TO ASHFALLS FOSSIL BEDS
Breakfast on your own.
7:00 am Leave with trucks, semis, trailers, campers to move to O’Neill – Donelle will pick up with van.
7:30 am Arrive O’Neill turn by Super 8 Motel onto E. Douglas St, which turns into Old Highway 108.
Turn South on 494 Rd and go a little way to LER Storage lot for parking trucks, semis, trailers,
and campers.
8:30 am Arrive back in Atkinson.
8:45 am Meeting for all TRAN participants
9:00 am Leave Atkinson on Highway 20 drive 9 miles east to Emmet
9:45 am Break at Emmet
10:00 am Leave for O’Neill (9 miles)
11:00 am Arrive in O’Neill
11:30 am Lunch at Teeals Westside Diner off Highway 20 on North side of road. $10-$12.00 Free will
donation for OCW/GFY.
12:45 pm Organize vehicles to drive to Ashfall Fossil Beds. Carpools and van.
1:00 pm Leave for Ashfall Fossil Beds – 28 miles
1:30 pm Arrive Ashfall Fossil Beds
3:30 pm Leave Ashfall Fossil Beds to return to O’Neill – 28 miles
4:00 pm Arrive back in O’Neill
